Unaiza Suliman, the acclaimed ‘Brow Queen’ of Sandton, is gearing up for a life-changing milestone in her already impressive career. This June, Suliman will do her virtual TED Talk first time, where she will share her inspiring journey in a highly anticipated talk, centred around the intersection of beauty, business, and empowerment. Widely recognised for her innovative approach to beauty and entrepreneurship, Suliman has earned a reputation as a trailblazer in the South African beauty industry.
Best known for her Uniq Brow brand, which includes a revolutionary brow growth product, she has transformed not only her own life but the lives of countless women. “Beauty has the power to transform, not just externally but internally. When women look and feel their best, they become more confident, and that confidence spills over into every area of their lives, including their business ventures.”
She added that beyond creating high-quality beauty products, she has made it her mission to uplift and empower women, particularly those with no previous experience in the beauty industry. “Through my brand, I have provided unique franchise opportunities, enabling women to take control of their financial futures and achieve independence.”
Suliman explained that her upcoming virtual TED Talk, scheduled for June 13 or 16th, will dive deep into how beauty, business, and social entrepreneurship can be harnessed as vehicles for self-confidence and economic empowerment. “My journey, as a mother and entrepreneur, has taught me the importance of perseverance. I want to show others that, with determination, anyone can break through societal barriers and achieve their dreams.”
She said this TED Talk will not only touch on her professional accomplishments; it will also highlight her philosophy of holistic wellness, fitness, and mindful living.
She explained that she believes these elements are essential in maintaining balance, as both a businesswoman and a mother, a perspective that will resonate with many of her listeners.
Suliman’s influence extends far beyond beauty products. She has become a sought-after mentor, offering business guidance and training to budding entrepreneurs, particularly women looking to carve their paths. “True success is not just about financial gain; it is about creating something that makes a positive impact. I want to use my platform to encourage others to redefine what success looks like for them.”
